What is Pied-à-Tire?

Our Pied-à-Tire is essentially a pied-à-terre, but on wheels!

A pied-à-terre is a small living unit, not used as an individual's primary residence. The term implies use of the property as a temporary second residence, but not a vacation home.

Mobile Front Porch

As avid travelers, we realized that owning a vacation home, or two, would never satisfy our desire to experience the many
interesting places we hope to discover.

Thus, we decided that we need a "mobile front porch" that allows us to temporarily live in many interesting and exciting locales.

About Us

We have lived abroad, circumnavigated the globe, and traveled extensively by plane, train, bus, boat, bicycle, backpack, rickshaw, and now our comfy, white van.
